November 2009:  Cielo Networks, Talley, and CommConnect team to provide emergency restoral and upgrade of critical school communications for Marshfield School District in Marshfield, Wisconsin, using SkyLink 18 GHz 100 Mbs systems.  Delivery, installation, and commissioning of the SkyLink systems was accomplished within 72 hours of the failure of the existing circuits.  Cielo Networks provides immediate delivery response to Talley & Silke Communications, delivering 2 SkyLink links to Oregon on a Saturday morning after notification of the urgent requirement the preceding Friday at 4 PM.  This rapid delivery and weekend phone technical support allowed Silke Communications to install and place in service 2 long path IP + NxT1 links urgently needed for critical communications between a rural hospital and outlying remote medical care facilities.

 

July 2009:  JTS Wireless, a Cielo Networks VAR partner, & Cielo Networks deploy a 600 Mbs SkyLink GigE + NxT1 ring network for the City of Midland, Texas, connecting critical public safety trunked 2-way radio networks and other city government sites including Midland Intl. Airport.

 

        

 

June 2009:  Talley appointed as an authorized distributor for Cielo Networks SkyLink systems.

 

February 2009:  Cielo Networks SkyLink system receives U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Telecommunications "Buy American" Program acceptance and listing.

 

December 2008:  Cielo Networks selected by and delivers SkyLink systems to its first major wireline telco customer, a top 10 US local exchange carrier.

 

November 2008:  ► Teleco Systems deploys a WAN & access point backhaul network for Rock County, Wisconsin, Emergency Services connecting 8 outlying fire/emergency stations with Emergency Services HQ.  Cielo Networks leases additional space to support the doubling of its office, lab, system integration and warehouse facilities in December.

 

 

September 2008:  ► Cielo Networks provides weekend/same day/next day delivery of SkyLink components to customers who had network facilities damaged by hurricanes Gustav & Ike.   Cielo Networks SkyLinks are selected by and delivered in quantity to a major federal agency for use in fixed and transportable data & video communication applications at a very large and highly secured remote government range facility.

 

August 2008:  Cielo Networks selected by and delivers SkyLink systems to the Benham Companies, a subsidiary of SAIC.

 

July 2008:  Cielo Networks delivers SkyLink systems to its first cable TV MSO customer, a top 10 U.S. cable TV and broadband service provider.

 

May 2008:  JTS Wireless of Dallas, TX selected as Cielo Networks' VAR partner for the south central USA.

 

 

April 2008:  First SkyLink 600 Mbs Gigabit Ethernet links deployed.

 

March 2008:  SkyLink SDIDU with high capacity (0 – 63) N x T1/E1 and integrated Add/Drop Multiplexer functionality released.  Cielo Networks delivers its 500th link of the SkyLink digital microwave radio system.

 

February 2008:  Trillion Partners renews its agreement with Cielo Networks as its sole source supplier of licensed PTP digital microwave systems for its 2008 network deployment cycle.

 

Winter 2007/2008:  Cielo Networks’ custom manufactured “auto deicing” antennas with self regulating heating elements successfully prevent icing attenuation problems on small aperture antennas deployed in remote high mountaintop sites in the Rockies.

 

 

December 2007:  SkyLink 6 GHz system is released, making the SkyLink system available in all FCC Part 101 PTP bands from 6 – 39 GHz.

 

November 2007:  Cielo Networks receives formal U.S. government designation as a Small Veteran Owned Business (SVOB).

 

October 2007:  Cielo Networks consolidates its office, lab, system integration and warehouse operations into new headquarters facilities in Southlake, Texas near Dallas – Fort Worth International Airport.

 

 

May 2007:   Cielo Networks Advisory Board of Directors formed with 3 initial external members.

Cielo Networks delivers its 250th link of the SkyLink digital microwave radio system.

 

April 2007:   Cielo Networks announces availability of its wideband SkyLink system offering enhanced frequency utilization, improved system gain, and greater bandwidth/capacity scalability.

SkyLink Gigabit Ethernet payload interface option for the SkyLink SDIDU is released.

 

March 2007:  Detel Wireless selects Cielo Networks and the SkyLink system for use in its licensed PTP microwave applications throughout Louisiana.

 

February 2007:   Airband, the largest fixed wireless broadband provider for businesses in the United States, selects Cielo Networks and the SkyLink system for deployment in all its licensed PTP microwave applications nationwide.  Trillion Partners renews its agreement with Cielo Networks as its sole source supplier of licensed PTP digital microwave systems for its 2007 network deployment cycle.

 

 

October 2006:   Cielo Networks delivers its 100th link of the SkyLink digital microwave radio system.

 

July 2006:   Cielo Networks begins supplying SkyLink systems and accessories to Trillion Partners, the nation’s leading provider of broadband services to education, for deployment in K-12 education networks nationwide.

 

May 2006:   Cielo Networks founded in Grapevine, Texas, in the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex.
